Why it’s great
Since he was a boy, all Casey Jones wanted was to drive trains. Before he could become an engineer, he had to learn every railroad job, and along the way he created a train whistle sound so distinctive that everyone knew when Casey was coming. Then, on the morning of April 30, 1900, he did something so brave and so fast that he would go down in history as one of America's greatest railroad heroes.
